The Communication Contract Communication is important to enhance understanding among people. Every single relationship that human beings make is made from effective communication. Individuals think differently and look at the world with various lens based on how they were raised, experiences, and many other things during their development. As such, knowing this difference as well as multiple ways of on how to effectively communicate with others will help individuals build authentic connections and relationships based on ethical communication. Even bringing that to the workplace, knowing how to communicate and creating an effective communication contract will build meaningful rapport by setting individuals up for visibility and success. Effective communication is the key to every interaction, but the expectations we have in communicating with others often unconsciously expressed to each other. That is one of the biggest barriers that can cause any organization and teamwork to fail because teammates can easily break each other’s communication rules and hence caused the intense vibe among the team.
